Technical Notes
What goes into a listing set
The difference between a good listing set and a mediocre one is almost entirely technical, and almost none of it is visible to the buyer. It just registers as the property looking right.
- Camera height. Interiors shot around chest height, consistent room to room, so spaces relate to each other correctly.
- Exposure blending. Multiple frames merged so the room and the window view are both correctly exposed.
- Vertical correction. Walls kept vertical rather than leaning, which is the clearest technical tell in property photography.
- Color balance. Mixed daylight, LED and tungsten corrected so whites are white in every frame.
- Composition order. Rooms shot in a logical walkthrough sequence so the gallery reads like moving through the home.
- Consistent editing. The same treatment applied across the set, so no room looks like it came from a different shoot.
